LambdaPsycho is an AI emotional companionship and psychoanalytic journaling application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and what choices users have.
We collect account information such as username and email address when you register, log in, or manage your account. We also collect authentication and subscription-related records needed to keep your account active and to manage access to paid features.
We collect audio data that you choose to provide, including voiceprint samples, murmur recordings, and voice chat audio. We use this data to identify the registered speaker, process speech, generate transcripts, create daily summaries, and provide AI chat or voice responses.
We collect text data generated from your use of the app, including transcripts, chat messages, daily summaries, analysis results, and related metadata such as timestamps, duration, and usage records. This information is used to provide core product functions, maintain conversation context, improve continuity across sessions, and support psychoanalytic insights requested by the user.
We may store limited technical and diagnostic information, such as session identifiers, error logs, upload status, device-side cache state, and service responses, for security, debugging, fraud prevention, service reliability, and customer support.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We may receive payment status, customer identifiers, plan information, and transaction references from Stripe, but we do not store full payment card numbers in the app or our application backend.
We use third-party service providers to operate the app. These may include Alibaba Cloud DingRTC for real-time voice communication, Qwen-related AI or speech services for transcription, analysis, and generation, and Stripe for billing and payment processing. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the requested features.
We use collected information to provide and maintain the service, authenticate users, upload and process recordings, generate transcripts and summaries, enable text and voice conversations, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.
The Android permissions currently required by the app are microphone access, internet access, network state access, Wi-Fi state access, and audio settings control. Microphone access is used only for voiceprint enrollment, murmur recording, and voice chat. Network-related permissions are used to connect to backend and real-time communication services. Audio settings control is used to support speaker and voice-call audio behavior. The app does not require camera, contacts, location, SMS, call log, or external storage permissions for its current core functionality.
Some data is stored locally on your device, such as cached session data, local recordings awaiting upload, and app preferences. Some data is stored on our servers so the service can provide history, summaries, account continuity, and subscribed features.
We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account history, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal requirements. If you want your account data deleted, you can contact us using the email below.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, to investigate abuse or fraud, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account-related personal data, subject to applicable law and operational requirements. You may also stop using microphone features by not granting microphone permission, although some voice features will then be unavailable.
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Users should avoid submitting information they do not want processed through AI, speech, cloud, or payment service providers.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means the updated policy applies to the extent permitted by law.
